Arcadia Data Unveils Arcadia Instant for KSQL, Industry’s First Native Visual Analytics for Apache Kafka

According to a recent press release, “Arcadia Data, provider of the first visual analytics and BI software native to big data, today announced the general availability of Arcadia Instant for KSQL. As the industry’s first native Apache Kafka® visualization software, Arcadia Instant helps get users up and running quickly to visually explore streaming data in real-time. Easily installed on any desktop, the software enables developers and analysts alike to easily visualize data streaming through Apache Kafka® topics. Arcadia Instant for KSQL can connect to Confluent Platform 4.1 and is available as a complimentary download on the Arcadia Data website.”

The release goes on, “The demand for event-stream processing and analytics is growing rapidly as organizations are looking for the best ways to integrate streaming data with historical data, provide intelligence to business processes and decisions, and to gain competitive advantage. As technology analyst and research firm Gartner finds, ‘Event stream processing is becoming a major part of business analytics. To get information from sensor data, web clickstreams, geolocation data, weather reports, market data, social media and other event streams, data and analytics leaders must employ three specific application styles’.”
