GE Corporate is searching for a Big Data Integration Engineer in Glen Allen, VA. The post states, “The Big Data Integration Engineer will work within the IT Risk Intelligence Solutions team; operationally owning and and managing our big data integration platform, participating on global projects and initiatives, developing new applications and integrations, leveraging cutting edge big data technologies and working with security professionals from across the company.”
Qualifications include: “Minimum 2 years of DBA experience including database design, normalization and expert level SQL. Minimum 2 years of experience working with data integration technologies such as ETL. Minimum1 year of experience as a professional programmer in Python or other scripting language. Minimum 1 year of experience in application development. GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen. Programming languages: Python, JavaScript, Perl, Ruby, PHP. Strong data modeling skills (normalized and multidimensional). Strong technical skills with data warehousing technologies, including Open Source solutions.”
