Qualifications for the position include the following: "Minimum three years applied experience in data science, or data mining and analytics, with proven success track record. Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, MapReduce, Cassandra. Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty with a degree of maturity. Ability to construct stories from insights with complete or partial data, using familiar or unfamiliar data sources. Experience with multivariate statistics (regression, principal components analysis and clustering), data–driven predictive model development. Working knowledge of R, Python, Ruby, Matlab, JAVA, C++/C, SQL, SAS, SPSS or equivalent. Familiarity with experimental design concepts and practices."
