Salesforce.com is looking for a Director of Product Management, Big Data & Sharing in San Francisco, CA. According to the post, “Salesforce.com is seeking an experienced technical product manager with a track record for driving new product capabilities from initial concept to successful delivery and market adoption. This highly visible role has a key responsibility for guiding Salesforce.com’s Big Data strategy and capabilities. Salesforce.com is experiencing enormous growth in customer adoption. As the Salesforce.com platform continues to grow in the breadth of capabilities and supported use cases, the ability to store and process vast amounts of data is becoming increasingly important.”
Qualifications for the position include: “4-6 years of Product Management experience including experience working with high scale data persistence and processing technologies such Hadoop, HBase, columnar data stores, noSQL, or similar technologies. Well-developed leadership, management, and strategic-thinking skills, with the ability to excite and lead others. Top notch written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership, participating in the sales cycle, and handling sensitive customer escalations. Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into an actionable product roadmap. Strong user experience/design sense, with a record of building great products.”
