GE is looking for a Project Manager of Risk Intelligence Solutions in Glen Allen, VA. Responsibilities of the position include the following: “Lead projects that involve identifying and aggregating both dynamic, real-time and static, batched asset related information from across GE. Work with global compliance teams to write and publish a global asset security standard/policy and assess businesses against this standard to drive adherence and compliance. Lead the implementation of a Master Data Management (or similar) solution to address asset data quality, accuracy, correlation and issue identification/remediation. Lead projects that leverage big data technologies such as Splunk, HBase and Hadoop to further enhance and complement our real time asset intelligence capabilities.”
Qualifications for the position include: “Minimum 2 years of experience in project management and leadership. Minimum 2 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing information systems. Experience integrating large datasets from many different sources. Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging big data technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities. Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources. Innovative and creative mindset. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Proven project management, process improvement, facilitation, and meeting planning skills. Broad knowledge of information security as well as IT systems, processes, and controls. Outstanding interpersonal, written/verbal communication.”
