According to a recent press release, “Botmetric, the highest rated cloud management platform on the AWS marketplace, announced the launch of its prototype cloud savings calculator with Amazon Alexa voice integration at this year’s Amazon re:invent conference. It is the first cloud management platform that integrates intelligent voice commands to manage cloud infrastructure. Re:invent attendees can stop by Botmetric’s booth #329 to sign up for the closed beta. Cloud cost management is the most important priority for 77% of mid-size and enterprise cloud users, according to data from Botmetric’s upcoming cloud usage report. As businesses continue to migrate to the cloud, they are simultaneously looking for cost predictability. A free cost savings calculator will also be available here – https://www.botmetric.com/cost-savings-calculator/.”

The release goes on, “The Botmetric Prototyping Cloud Savings Measurement Module provides a single pane to understand and maximize cloud savings. It allows for complete budgeting and forecasting guidance for cloud cost management. With Amazon Alexa integration, users can get information regarding cloud spend patterns through simple voice commands. Alexa instantly lists the user’s top five cloud services. Paired with Botmetric’s module, it provides potential cost savings opportunities by listing suggestions about resources that are either unused or underutilized. These suggestions can be used to right-size resources. Additionally, it can use the power of voice to get aggregated cloud saving, cost summary, and projected month and year spends.”
