At the 2010 Enterprise Data World Conference, Robert S. Seiner will deliver a presentation on “Steps to Building an Effective Data Governance Program Without Budget.” This webcast is a sneak preview of that topic.

During this webcast, Mr. Seiner will share five steps to building an effective Data Governance Program when there is not significant time or budget set aside for the effort. While the financial storm rages inside and outside your organization’s walls, the risks, problems and opportunities surrounding data are not going away. Chances are management considers managing the risk around data to be very important. Chances are management is looking to improve the value they get from data through BI, MDM, ERP and DQ. However, many of these initiatives have been placed under a temporary awning until the storm passes.

This webcast will focus on sharing ideas about how to move Data Governance forward while it is raining outside. The session covers how to put the basic components of a Data Governance program in place without worrying about the impact of the storm. Hey … one might call that dancing. And who cares if you get a little wet!
