The University of Maryland University College is looking for an Associate Vice President of Business Intelligence in Hyattsville, MD. Responsibilities of the position include: “Coordinate closely with UMUC’s IT department (particularly the Architecture, DBA, and infrastructure teams), oversee the further development of the University’s Enterprise Data Warehouse, and the University’s reporting platform (currently SAP’s Business Objects). Working together with key units of the University, oversee the development of performance metrics and dash board indicators for various units of the University to include marketing, enrollment management, human resources, overseas divisions, financial aid, learner analytics, etc. Provide regular analysis of trends in key business metrics.”
Qualifications for the position include the following: “Bachelor’s degree; a minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in designing, developing and implementing business intelligence systems, including data warehouse and reporting systems; demonstrated supervisory and management experience; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent interpersonal and communication competencies, time management and organizational skills. Technical skills using software (SQL, Access, Excel, etc.) required. Requires a collaborative positive leadership style in a goal-oriented, fast-paced environment.”
