California Pizza Kitchen is seeking a Business Intelligence & Data Warehousing Enterprise IT Architect in Los Angeles, CA. According to the post, this position will be “responsible for the development of California Pizza Kitchen’s Information Architecture.   The Enterprise Architect will plan, design, and develop CPK’s Enterprise Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence platforms, their overall architecture, and their ongoing transformation.  This individual will contribute to the decision making process with Senior IT Management to determine strategies and initiate key information development initiatives in line with business strategy.   They will lead enterprise information initiatives from vision to implementation through iterative strategy development and tactical execution of objectives. This person will engage regularly with key business stakeholders across business units to drive technical strategy and architectural direction.”

Key job functions include, “Serve as a technical lead for CPK’s data warehouse and business intelligence architecture, design, development, and ongoing maintenance. Perform ongoing technical assessment of CPK’s existing data environment.  Identify strategic architecture opportunities and help develop work plans to address current and future needs. Lead the design and maintenance of CPK’s Enterprise Information Architecture according to best practice, and assuring a pragmatic approach is taken based on maturity modeling. Apply, promote, and help institute best practice principles, methodologies and standards with regard to management of Master Data, Meta Data, Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Structure, Data Architecture, and Data Security.”
