Toyota Financial Services is looking for a Business Intelligence Manager in Torrance, CA. Responsibilities of the position include the following: “Create project plans to schedule project tasks and activities, and drives project through to completion. Highlight and escalate issues & risks as appropriate to project stakeholders. Manage and lead our BI team to implement BI solutions on time that meet the Business requirements of the users. Oversee all aspects of BI delivery from Design, Development, Testing, and implementation. Manage BI hardware, software and services vendors. Ability to negotiate and structure contracts favorable to the organization. Ensure all BI projects and efforts within the team are in alignment with the company business intelligence strategy.”
Qualifications include: “Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or 8+ years related work experience. Certification in data warehousing and/or BI dashboard development strongly preferred. Expert knowledge (8+ years) of business development concepts including data warehousing and enterprise dashboard creation. Strong knowledge of BI practices and tools (Informatica, Stored Procedures, OBIEE+, Hyperion Interactive Reporting, etc.). Knowledge of Unix/Linux. Knowledge of data warehouse appliances such as Netezza or Teradata strongly preferred.”
