Amazon Corporate is looking for a Business Intelligence Manager in Seattle, WA. According to the post, this position will “Own the design, development, maintenance, and delivery/presentation of forecasting models, metrics, revenue reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business decisions. Work in conjunction with sales leadership, Finance and the services, General Managers, and Vice Presidents to lead the annual revenue budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes. Lead the development and provision of routine and ad-hoc analytic reports to senior management regarding sales initiatives, customer segment performance and performance against goals. Ensure reports contribute to business insight and decision-making, and minimize the overall sales report burden.”
Qualifications for the position include the following: “Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field plus one year of experience in the job offered or related occupation Business Analyst, or another related occupation. One year of experience in the job offered or related occupation must involve participating in large-scale, cross-functional Kaizen projects; driving key operations improvements projects using 7 Quality tools, SPC, Hypothesis Testing, and Simple Regression techniques; and performing business analytics and data queries using MS Excel, Access, and SQL/SAS.”
