Russell Investments is looking for a Business Intelligence Manager in their Global Technology and Operations division in Seattle, WA. According to the post, “Russell offers a comprehensive range of implementation services that help institutional clients maximize their assets. The Russell Indexes calculate over 50,000 benchmarks daily covering 65 countries and more than 10,000 securities. The Business Intelligence Manager is in a key position to drive and innovate business intelligence solutions for Russell’s business units. This role will run Business Intelligence innovation and integration with new and existing technologies, monitor and manage end-to-end functional design of the solutions and ensure definitions of data assets are well understood across implementations.”
Responsibilities include, “Identify Business Intelligence needs within various functional areas (Sales, Operations, Marketing, Research, Finance, Index and Product Development) working with business unit managers. Works closely with stakeholders, developers and project management. Evaluate various Business Intelligence/Data solution vendors on an ongoing basis and introduce the right tools to the BICC portfolio based on project needs and long term vision. Contributes to review and approve the architecture of all Business Intelligence solutions. Translation of business requirements into functional application specifications and logical data model requirements. Coordinates work with both offshore and on-shore associates and project management.”
