Farmers Insurance is looking for a Business Intelligence Platform Manager in Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities of the position include the following: “Responsible for the Farmers Business Intelligence Platform, including implementation of a next generation appliance. Define or approve solution and technical architecture modifications/augmentations. Manage shared service organization and develop data management Centers of Excellence (COEs) for data storage, data movement, and other supporting areas (e.g. metadata). Lead operational troubleshooting and optimization functions.”
Qualifications include the following: “At least 5 years IT experience focused in Data Warehousing and/or Business Intelligence (BI) domains. Knowledge of distributed infrastructures, databases, and data movement technologies, ability to define associated solution blueprints, and experience optimizing components and full systems. Background in establishing and leading technical governance and shared support organizations; experience in defining and enforcing standards and procedures.”
