General Mills is looking for a BW Data Architect in Minneapolis, MN. This position “will be responsible for modeling and building reporting and analytics solutions using SAP BW / BEx tools. This includes gathering requirements, providing design recommendations and development of the applications from data extraction to loading of the InfoCube for business reporting. BI is a key objective for IS and the corporation – this position will be part of the team to deliver a global corporate BI strategy. The qualified candidate will have a good understanding of, and exposure to, SAP planning tools to provide support and development activities.”
Qualifications include the following: “3+ years’ experience as an IS analyst; 5+ years preferred. High level experience with BW data model, BEx reporting development, BEx Security and Business Objects. Exposure to SAP BPS planning tools. High level knowledge in BW/BEx security. Working knowledge of Corporate Data – SAP R/3 ERP, Transactional Data, Master Data, Hierarchies. Understanding of concepts, terminology, and tools of Data Warehousing. Familiarity with SAP R/3: data, transactions and business processes. Experience with enterprise reporting (BEx, Business Objects).”
