The Cultural Data Project is searching for a Chief Executive Officer. The post states, “The Cultural Data Project (CDP) is a nonprofit corporation that offers a powerful online management tool that strengthens arts and cultural organizations through the collection, distribution, and other use of reliable, longitudinal data. The CDP’s powerful, online management system is designed to track financial, operational and programmatic data in order to streamline funding applications and provide comparative data, benchmarks and sophisticated reports. It empowers researchers and advocates with information to make the case for arts and culture, and it equips funders with the data they need to plan and evaluate grantmaking activities more effectively.”
It goes on, “The CEO provides leadership for strategy, fundraising, financial oversight, and management of the overall organization. Working in concert with the CDP Board, the CEO will move the organization forward in the development and implementation of internal and external goals that reflect CDP’s mission, vision, and strategic business plan. The CEO’s responsibilities are defined in the following four broad areas: Board; Strategy and Business Planning; Management; and Outside Engagement.”
