Boeing is looking for a Computing Architect in Bellevue, WA. According to the post, this position will “Lead and/or support activities to define and evolve the enterprise information management technologies, products and services across Boeing. Defines requirements and designs and verifies robust architecture, data and information management systems and components. Provide architecture direction and guidance to information and data related projects and initiatives: Analytics & Business Intelligence (BI), Data Warehousing (DW), data archiving and retrieval, master data management (MDM), data quality. Establishes and/or supports design constraints and ensures architecture conforms to requirements.”
Further responsibilities include: “Lead and/or support the evaluation and selection of technology and products, and assist in the creation of information and data technical, product, architecture and service standards. Incorporates architecture functions into software development lifecycle. Lead and/or assist with assessment of impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycle. Lead and/or support the development and configuration management of architecture views and models Lead and/or support the assessment of feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives. Lead and/or support the evaluation of products to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments. Contributes to architecture and data/information management standards and strategies.”
