Data Job of the Day: Data Architect

Emerson Climate Technologies is looking for a Data Architect in Sidney, OH. According to the post, “This position will coordinate Vendavo data development ensuring consistency and integration with existing Oracle Business Intelligence warehouse by working with functional groups within IT and internal business clients. This role will review all business requests for data and data usage, along with researching data sources for new and better data feeds. This role will also ensure data is clean and credible to support Vendavo, including identifying data integrity issues and creating processes/audits to address quality or compliance issues.”

It continues, “Assurance of data governance policies and processes are vital. The position will be responsible for design, development and implementation of Oracle Business Intelligence Applications, ETL Adapters and Data Warehouse for Vendavo Price Analyzer & Deal Manager requirements. This role will support data delivery from our Legacy Systems to OBIEE (Data Mart), OBIEE to Vendavo, and Vendavo to Legacy, as well as all processes required to enable FTPs for each division. This position will also monitor and notify ITSS of any outages that will affect data transfers to/from Climate Systems and provide feedback for assigned tickets while attending weekly ITSS Vendavo status meetings.”
