According to the post, “This position is responsible for the establishment, development and promotion of standard architectures / frameworks in the form of hardware and software components for the data architectural discipline in an effort to meet business needs.”
It continues, “The Data Architect is also responsible for participating in the development of the enterprise data architecture and technology standards management process and should keep abreast of the latest technologies and technological opportunities in the data subject area. This role provides technical strategies of business initiatives to Senior Architects, Project Managers, business partners, senior management and vendors. The Data Architect understands the changing needs of the organization and recommends strategies for the future. This role requires a strong working experience with the entire lifecycle of Data Management.”
