Morgan Stanley is looking for a Data Governance and Stewardship Business Analyst in New York, NY. The post states, “This is a Sr. Business Analyst position on the Finance Data Architecture team with direct responsibility for current state assessments of key reference data dependencies as well as the development and implementation of our future state governance model. The role has two major components: (1) Current State Assessments – Evaluating all critical Finance required reference data domains to satisfy Future State Architecture and Regulatory commitments… (2) Establish and Deploy Governance Standards – Leveraging the current state business analysis to identify deficiencies in data management and establish common data management practices to address these deficiencies and streamline governance across Finance.”
Qualifications include the following: “Experience working with Reference Data preferred, including Product, Client, Geography, etc. Financial Services Industry experience, including a basic understanding of trade processing from trade capture through to financial reporting. Exceptional communication skills and demonstrable ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of organization, this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations. Ability to act as a liaison, conveying information in a suitable manner between the business units and counterparts within Information Technology and Operations. Must be a team player, able to work effectively at all levels within the organization, with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus.”
