Citi is looking for a Data Governance Business Leader in New York, NY. Responsibilities of the position include the following: “Contributes to data strategy based on business strategy and requirements. Provides data requirements to meet business objectives. Identifies and addresses data requirements for respective area. Conveys vision and high level business requirements for data. Defines the business data definitions and processes. Responsible for communicating data needs to improve the integrity of analytics. Collaborates cross functionally to drive benefits from data. Serves as an arbiter for data conflicts in their functional area. Performs impact assessments of data changes for the business.”
Qualifications include: “Minimum of 12 years of relevant data governance, data management and business transformation experience. Understanding of existing systems and data structure. Solid working knowledge of core business functions such as quality management, data management, business intelligence, and information technology. Data quality and data operations management expertise, including understanding of standards, methods, processes, tools and controls. Strong knowledge of financial services industry. Detail orientation, persistence, tenacity, and organizational skills mandatory. Ability to work autonomously with all levels of management. Ability to cope with and be an advocate for change.”
