Dun & Bradstreet is looking for a Data Governance Manager in Short Hills, NJ. According to the post, “D&B is establishing an Enterprise Data Governance function in order to Protect & grow D&B’s strategic information asset that enables business growth. We will accomplish this by: (1) Establishing EDG guiding principles, set of controls, and best practices. (2) Providing an oversight of management of the availability, usability, and quality of the data required by the business. (3) Creating cross functional team to influence the compliance of the guiding principle. (4) Increasing visibility of potential issues or opportunities from the cross functional teams to senior leaders & stakeholder.”
Qualifications include: “3-5 years of experience in Data Management and/or Data Governance disciplines. Extensive D&B specific data understanding is a plus. Demonstrates intimate knowledge of data quality, data governance and master data management practices and principles. Proven track record of success utilizing data analyses and data quality tools (Trillium, DataFlux, Business Objects, etc.) Highly proficient in MS Office Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint , and Visio (Project is an advantage). Take initiative and be self motivated to work on your own and as part of a team. Demonstrated track record of success with organizing, planning and completing project management deliverables, coupled with a proven ability to prepare and present concise, accurate documents and reports with attention to business writing and grammar. Excellent communication (verbal, written, listening) and engagement skills. Able to distil and communicate the key messages from large amounts of data and info quickly.”
