Zebra Technologies is looking for a Data Governance Manager in Lincolnshire, IL. The post states, “Align and enforce global data governance and business strategies for the assigned business discipline to ensure the highest quality data is delivered for all data elements that flow through the various company systems such as PLM, ERP, and CRM. Implement global MDM and Data Governance standards, policies, procedures, and security measures to ensure proper use of business systems where master data is involved. Work closely with broad cross-functional business teams and IT, to promote MDM and Data Governance.”
Qualifications for the position include the following: “Six or more years experience in IT, operations, finance, customer service, engineering, etc. Two or more years experience managing others. Strong ability to influence others. Strong ability to sell ideas and reach consensus in a matrixed work environment. Excellent interpersonal skills such as listening & communicating. Ability to lead multi-site cross-functional, cross-cultural teams to resolve problems. Proven data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities. Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work breakdown structures. Strategic thinker with the ability to envision, plan and implement strategic initiatives that significantly improve data integrity and management. Ability to bridge gap between technical and functional knowledge bases and communicate effectively with constituents in both the business and IT.”
