Amdocs is looking for a Data Governance Manager in Manila, the Philippines. The post states, “The EDW Data Governance lead will be responsible for facilitating alignment between data management functions, tracking data related issues and resolutions, and maintaining communication between data management professionals and the client’s Data Governance Office. This is a strategic customer-facing consulting role, engaging client stakeholders at all levels, and also coordinates communications between Amdocs data management teams.”
Qualifications include the following: ” Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or Computer Science and 8+ years of IT experience, 5+ years in the Telecoms industry, and 5+ years in business analysis. Experience with enterprise data modeling, and BI reporting and analytics. Strong understanding of dimensional and normalized data model schemas. Strong understanding of data warehouse design and ETL development methodologies and best practices. Strong understanding of OLAP cube development and creating and maintaining BI reporting environment(e.g. Business Object Universe). Strong understanding of OLTP and data warehousing database platforms.”
