Nielsen is looking for a Data Specialist – Data Quality in Fond du Lac, WI. According to the post, “The Data Quality Data Specialist provides process governance and continuous improvement for RMS Input Operations. The role communicates directly with Retailers, external vendors and all other internal support departments to align Retailer data with Nielsen standards. Duties include: Setup and review retailer data for new channels. Perform data content reviews on Retailer data utilizing the appropriate platform and tools available. Provide recommendations for approval or modifications of retailer data as required. Drive growth initiatives within Input Operations. Research questions arising from internal/external sources relating to information delivered.”
Qualifications for the position include the following: “Effective at communicating with Retailers, external contacts and internal departments on Nielsen data logic, processes and procedures. Solid customer focus (Internal and External). Identifies opportunities to increase quality and customer satisfaction, including making suggestions to improve department processes. Proficient at providing phone/remote support to various technical levels of end users from beginners to advanced knowledge. Proficient at performing data content reviews in accordance with Nielsen standards and guidelines. Provides Retailers with actionable recommendations to improve data quality and processing efficiencies. Takes the initiative to offer innovative ideas and solutions within own team. Effectively represents team in cross-functional initiatives, mentors others.”
