Recombinant Data is looking for a Database Architect in Newton, MA. The post states, “We are looking for a Database Architect who has the ability to aid client with decision making (hardware, software, architecture). Ideal candidate must be able to be hands-on (ETL, Data Modeling, DBA Activities, SQL) Database Architect must be able to demonstrate proficiency with Data modeling (E/R, logical, physical) and have a good understand OO design and concepts.”
Qualifications for the position include the following: “Understand and be able to explain and participate in Architecture design (Big Picture). Excellent understanding of RDMS and SQL and relational theory. All required skills of a Software Engineer Level 2. Ability to create client and subject matter specific use cases. Must have the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Must have the ability to be client-facing. Must be able to work in a team environment as well independently as needed. Self-Starter, willingness to learn. Knowledge of HL7, HITSP, HIE, and RIM. Java/Grails.”
