New York Life is looking for a Director of Business Intelligence in Austin, TX. Key responsibilities of the position include, “Manage, develop, and execute the Business Intelligence/Data Management (BI/DM) strategy and implementation. Responsible for providing strategic leadership for LTC – BI in the areas of Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Dashboards, and other associated systems. Responsible for supervision of BI staff (including regular employees and contract individuals) within LTC IT, including hiring, expectation setting with staff, performance management/appraisal process, training and discipline. Work with IT and business leadership to develop the vision and business case for LTC BI. Establish and implement short and long range goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures; monitor and evaluate operational effectiveness.”
