SolTech is looking for a Director of Data and Business Intelligence in Atlanta, GA. The company is looking for someone to “create, institute and manage Data and Business Intelligence governance strategy and build out new technology capabilities. This position is responsible for supporting the development and execution of Data and BI strategy, defining governance framework and standards and planning/leading data quality programs.” Responsibilities include: “Provide leadership in developing overall data quality and management strategic plan. Facilitate the completion of common business definitions and data dictionary. Reduce data redundancy and storage levels with appropriate archival plan and implementation. Monitor the Data Governance process and escalate issues to executive management when necessary.”
Qualifications include the following: “8-10 years of senior architecture experience in data management, business intelligence, data governance and quality and master data management. Four year degree from an accredited university; MBA preferred. Expertise in data management and governance framework. Leadership experience in data and BI governance/standards along with development and operations. Experience with Business intelligence, Enterprise balance score card, Performance metrics and KPI implementations and standardization. Knowledge and experience with two or more major industry standard BI tools. In depth knowledge of understanding of Enterprise data architecture, data management and operations is needed. Travel required.”
