UnitedHealth Group is looking for a Director of Master Data Management in Minnetonka, MN; Hartford, CT; or Basking Ridge, NJ. According to the post, “In this leadership role you will be expected to lead our Master Data Management (MDM) program and provide senior leadership across the enterprise. This role is accountable for development, delivery and management of the UnitedHealth Group (UHG) MDM systems for various information domains including Provider, Customer, Product, and Consumer. Will be expected to work with senior leaders to define roadmaps in order to build the MDM strategy for quality and trusted data distributions across UHG systems. Person will be accountable for building a MDM Center of Excellence to provide standards and best practices across the organization.”
Qualifiactions for the position include: “Strong customer relationship management skills. Prior experiences in a ‘business-facing’ role. Demonstrated leadership skills, evidenced by the ability to influence others. 2 + years of experience in the healthcare industry. 3 + years of experience in enterprise master data management. Thorough understanding of master data management, data quality, data modeling and data management. Track record of successful ODS and/or data warehouse implementations. Deep knowledge of canonical (or message) modeling. Demonstrated experiences with an MDM tool; specific knowledge of IBM Initiate and/or IBM MDM server desired.”
