CrowdStar is looking for a Director of Business Intelligence in Burlingame, CA. The post states, “The Director of Business Intelligence (BI) will lead the BI efforts that drive strategy for retention, revenue and customer satisfaction for CrowdStar’s line of web and mobile social games. This charismatic leader will develop and implement a business intelligence platform that combines competitive intelligence, business opportunity and data analytics into a comprehensive business strategy that will shape the future of the social gaming industry. The Director of BI plays a critical role within CrowdStar through analysis of data for millions of users, and the company’s games pivot very quickly based on these insights and recommendations.”
Responsibilities of the position include: “Work with Engineering, Studios, Mobile, Marketing and Finance to define and execute CrowdStar’s approach for collecting and analyzing data to enable fact-based decision making. Collaborate with all departments to track, aggregate and interpret data across various game titles to develop integrated business strategies and performance measurement. Define the data and reports needed to create a historic, current and predictive view of product/game performance. Attract and lead a team of business intelligence analysts, database administrators, architects, mathematicians and statisticians.”
