Interactive Data Corporation is seeking a Director of Data Governance in Bedford, MA: “Interactive Data Corporation’s new data governance function is based on the principle that our data and information will outlast our applications. As such, IDCo will be making a concerted effort to manage our data as a strategic asset. The Director of Data Governance will work with product management, sales, content acquisition, operations, technology and finance to design, implement and monitor policies and practices that guarantee the overall health of IDCos data assets so that IDCo can continue to be a credible and trusted information resource within our core markets and beyond.”
Responsibilities of the position include, “Create and implement policies that ensure that IDCo data is accurate, reliable and credible. Measure and report on changes to IDCo data quality as well as source data quality. Work with operations and technology to implement and monitor processes that are consistent, scalable and transparent. Expose the value of each data set by source and product and track values based on usage trends. Mitigate compliance risk globally with real-time financial data supplier contracts and changes in exchange policies and regulatory environments.”
