The Hartford is looking for a Director of Data Management in Hartford, CT. According to the post, “This AVP/Director role will be accountable for HIMCO’s data strategy design, implementation, and maintenance, including the definition of an enterprise data strategy. The data strategy has touch points into all aspects of our Information Management activities and impacts all HIMCO business segments. In addition to the strategy – design, coordination, integration, and communication will be critical. A significant part of the role will be managing a cross-organizational portfolio of data-related activities. It is essential the person filling this role is able to identify opportunities around data management and to help the firm realize those opportunities.”
Qualifications include the following: “Minimum 5 years experience. Data Management expertise developing, executing and supervising plans, policies, programs and practices. Development of Data Strategy and associated policies. Master Data Management experience defining and managing data quality programs for MDM. Information Management experience. Ability to work with a diverse team of stakeholders to prioritize and manage many simultaneous deliverables. Robust Data Architecture skills – sets direction for and possesses a deep understanding of data architecture and strategies which integrate with industry trends. Enterprise Data Modeling expertise. Financial industries background.”
