The Craft Brew Alliance is searching for a Director of Enterprise Data Management in Portland, OR. The post states, “This position is a direct report to the Chief Information Officer and is responsible for defining strategy, principles, vision and standards for both data and integration of systems within the enterprise and for providing the data and integration framework, governance and roadmap to attain the vision. This role will facilitate business strategy discussions to ensure the enterprise strategy for enterprise data domain assets are well thought out and documented… The Director, as chief data architect, must be able to understand and communicate the data and integration requirements of any future enterprise solution at all levels of the organization from senior management to users to development teams and vendors.”
Qualifications for the position include: “10+ years IT experience with 5+ years in a technical management role. Proven expertise in a variety of database, ETL, integration and application concepts, practices, and procedures. Experience with Business Intelligence solutions ideally within both Microsoft and Cognos environments. Ability to quickly assess and recommend solutions. Experience facilitating business specific workshops to document business data requirements. Experience creating and presenting executive and technical level documentation related to business data requirements. Experience leading data governance teams/efforts. Proven leadership, change management, project and process management skills.”
