GE Aviation is looking for an Enterprise Data Architect in Van Buren, MI. According to the post, “The Enterprise Data Architect role focuses on developing standards for naming, describing, governing, managing, modeling, storing, cleansing, transforming, searching and delivering ALL data within the enterprise. This includes methodologies, tools, governance and conventions. The role is also responsible for developing innovative ways to create the definition, structure, integration and maintenance of data in the enterprise.”
Responsibilities of the position include the following: “Provide technical and project leadership function for assigned CIO team funded projects. Analyze database requirements and plan database capacity. Analyze and design the data integration leveraging established design patterns. Design and review logical and physical data model for CIO funded BI/DW projects. Review and approve data architectural variances. Provide architectural guidance on data quality and data migration initiatives. Serve as key producer of data management products for assigned projects and areas. Enable agile IT responses to business process changes and information needs. Allow management to predict business success for current operations and alternative business strategies. Support operational management in monitoring actual and planned performance.”
