FINCA is looking for an Enterprise Data Architect in Atlanta, GA. According to the post, “Under supervision and guidance of the Director of Enterprise Data, the Enterprise Data Architect (EDA) is responsible to assure all levels of data architecture (business, conceptual, logical, physical, and technical) will be in accordance with FINCA’s Enterprise Data Strategy. These actives will be performed under the guidance of the Director of Enterprise Data at the enterprise level for master/reference data and the enterprise data warehouse system.”
Qualifications for the position include the following: “15 or more years’ experience as an enterprise data architect, with responsibility for leading enterprise wide data initiatives. Expert knowledge using SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS tools. Demonstrated competence gained from experience with relational database systems, as well as good understanding of multidimensional architecture and their limitations/issues and usage. Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL/ SQL scripting ( MS SQL). Demonstrated ability to understand, communicate, and translate the business understanding and requirements into technical solutions. Demonstrated competence gained from experience with strategic data architecture concepts and the costs/benefits and tradeoffs compared to immediate tactical strategies. General understanding of data integration from both a business and technologies/tools (e.g. SQL Server Integration Services) level.”
