Data Job of the Day: Enterprise Data Architect

McDonald’s is looking for an Enterprise Data Architect at their corporate office in Oak Brook, IL. The post states, “The Enterprise Data Architect will be responsible for key deliverables of the Master Data Management (MDM) program as well as other data requirements, design, and implementation activities as assigned. This role will be a key contributor to the success of McDonald’s information strategy and the management of new data services.”

Responsibilities of the position include: “Collaborate with key stakeholders, elicit data requirements, and concisely document specifications. Develop and maintain project plans and schedules for the MDM program to ensure timely and high quality project delivery. Design and maintain logical and physical data models of master data domains. Capture and maintain meta-data pertaining to data definitions, lineage, rules, and taxonomy. Assist in the facilitation of the data governance process to ensure global, cross-functional alignment.”
