McAfee is looking for an Enterprise Data Governance Program Lead in Santa Clara, CA. According to the post, “The new McAfee wide BI & Data program will be provide leadership cross-functionally to ensure progress and adoption of key BI and Data initiatives. Data Governance is a critical foundational track for our McAfee wide BI & Data program. The Enterprise Data Governance Program Lead will help provide a cross-functional leadership role to enable our vision to ensure global decision makers are empowered with a personalized view of consistent, relevant, ready-to-use business intelligence. This key role will help facilitate a common Data Governance framework with shared tools, processes, and standards across all business functions for McAfee.”
Responsibilities of the position include: “Facilitate & Manage EDG Committee meetings. Project Lead for Key Data Governance Projects. Consolidate and Maintain EDG Policies. Facilitate data issue management and escalation. Ensure EDG Processes are followed. Create regular EDG Mgmt & Functional Communications. Support Master & Metadata Data Mgmt Efforts. Track and manage metadata reviews across the business. Coordination with Functional Data Governance Teams. Training for new Stewards and Data Owners & functional teams.”
