Convergenz is looking for an Enterprise Data Manager, IT Planning & Business Management in Washington, DC. Responsibilities of the position include the following: “Direct the establishment of the Enterprise Data Management Department to include the Data warehouse and business intelligence design, development and participates on the related architecture efforts. Direct the design and creation of the ETL and query processes to ensure industry best practices and efficiency for all processes and databases. Lead the effort to define the requirements for data and reporting needs across the enterprise to ensure that the representation of this data meets the business needs of the enterprise.”
Qualifications for the position include: “Five years’ of experience in Data Warehouse ETL Development required. Three years’ of experience in Data Modeling for Data Warehouse required. Two years’ of experience in Data Warehouse Architecture required. Minimum of five to seven years of related experience in Data Warehouse engineering and development life cycles with at least three years of experience involving architectural responsibility. Knowledge and experience using architecture modeling tools, building enterprise data models, working with multi-terabyte data sets and using SQL. Working knowledge of Data Management, Data Warehousing technologies, database administration, performance tuning, archiving and disaster recovery.”
