Ace Hardware is looking for an Enterprise Data Manager at their corporate office in Oak Brook, IL. According to the post, “This role will provide leadership for data architecture strategy across all platforms, as well as participate with platform architecture and senior management to drive enterprise data standards. Additional accountabilities include: (1) Leading their team in the participation of projects to evaluate business requirements and design application development technologies across the enterprise. (2) Working with the team to develop and oversee data access strategies, data management, data dictionary and metadata standards. (3) Leading the team to establish best practice and methodology in the area of data architecture, design and development.”
It continues, “A successful candidate will have leadership experience in developing, implementing and driving a strategy. Technical experience with enterprise data architecture, data modeling and large database application development is preferred. The Enterprise Data Manager will have proven experience in implementing strategies to deal with issues such as scalability, high-availability, replication, security, synchronization, master data management, metadata management, data integration and data governance strategies.”
