First American Financial Corporation is looking for an Enterprise Master Data Steward in Santa Ana, CA. According to the post, "The Enterprise Master Data Steward's role is to strategically manage and administer assigned data domains across the enterprise, while ensuring high levels of data quality, integrity, availability, accuracy, completeness, consistency and privacy. This individual is responsible for standardizing data naming, establishing consistent data definitions, monitoring/auditing the data quality, and executing cleansing and policy agreements. The Master Data Steward focuses on business benefits, fosters the goal of data re-use, upholds governance and regulatory agreements, and articulates the strategic significance of information to the organization."
Qualifications for the position include: "3-5 years of total related experience. Experience in Cross-functional/Cross-Company, CRM projects is preferred. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of customer master data elements, processes, and organizational support models is preferred. Analyst skills using SQL, MS Excel, MS Access, SQL Server Integration Services, FAST, Ticketing system (e.g. Service Now, Tech Excel etc.). Good understanding of end to end business processes. Ability to work well independently or as part of a team. Sense of urgency and good follow through. Good problem solving skills. Data Governance UI Experience with MDM tool (such as CDH, UCM, Fusion Customer Hub, Informatica MDM, IBM MDM) is preferred."
