Logitech is on the lookout for a Global Master Data Management (GMDM) Data Governance Manager in Fremont, CA. The post states, “Logitech has implemented an integrated, hub-based approach for managing a variety of master data management needs–the Global Master Data Management (GMDM) program. The Data Governance Manager will oversee many aspects of the ongoing health of these new and improved systems. The successful candidate in this role will act as the go-to person for addressing GMDM issues and questions. As an expert on the overall design, they will know the answers, or where to get them. They will be able to act as a bridge between business, IT and BI to analyze and define business needs and develop appropriate solutions. As a catalyst for continuous improvement, they will also establish and manage the change process and escalation path for difficult issues.”
Specific responsibilities include the following: “Develop and manage standard data quality analysis and templates. Create custom quality analyses for end-users. Work with data owners to establish commonly agreed data quality rules. Proactively analyze and look for weaknesses to be fixed. Prioritize future features and continuous improvements. Help identify and drive implementation of changes to processes to support GMDM effectiveness . Facilitate workshops/ design sessions.”
