Gartner is looking for a Group Vice President of Business Intelligence in Stamford, Ct. The post states, “The GVP Business Intelligence position is a high profile and strategic function within Gartner’s leadership organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will work directly with the senior management team to build and lead a world-class business intelligence organization. This individual will drive the strategic vision of Gartner by leveraging data, information, foundational analytics as well as using analytic tools/applications for optimal business processing and critical decision making.”
It continues, “The GVP will define, lead and direct Gartner’s business intelligence strategy, ensuring that it aligns to Gartner’s corporate strategy. Gartner’s BI strategy combines business knowledge, analytics, applications and technologies which are used to gather, provide access to, and analyze data and information about Gartner’s operations. The BI strategy, and the tactical deployment of the strategy, provides Gartner with comprehensive knowledge of the factors affecting its business, such as metrics on production, consumptions, and client satisfaction for the Executive Leadership Team and their direct reports with the insight to make business decisions.”
