GE Energy is searching for an IM Project Manager, Master Data Management in Atlanta, GA. According to the post, “This IM Program Manager supports GE Energy’s IM Data Services initiatives within the Master Data Management & Data Governance team. Master Data Management includes Customer, Supplier, Asset & Financial Master Data domains. The Data Services Organization will drive significant change with respect to data creation, management & use across the
organization. The IM Program Manager position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Data Governance strategies and processes in conjunction with overall Master Data Management (MDM) practices. This is a hands on role and will require significant project leadership experience in a complex organization.”
Responsibilities of the position include, “Manage the development and implementation of data management / strategies across the GE Energy Master Data Domains (Customer, Supplier, Asset, Finance, etc). Act as a consultant between the Energy business, IT and other MDM pillars to analyze and define business needs while assisting in the development of appropriate solutions. Partner with other project managers working on MDM initiatives across Energy and provide executive level updates on MDM and Data Governance progress. Work with peers within other MDM pillars to develop and maintain business strategy, policies, standards and guidelines pertaining to global enterprise data.”
