JPMorgan Chase is looking for an Information Analyst/Data Governance Manager in Garden City, NJ. According to the post, “The Information Analyst will be responsible for helping to drive the implementation of the long term data strategy for Chase Auto Finance. This individual will be joining that team at the very beginning of the effort and will have an opportunity to help shape the strategy. Along the way, this individual will be part of a building a team of skilled individuals to assist in the effort of building out the solution and ultimately become the stewards of the data warehouse. This team will own the environment and partner with IT to drive new solutions as well as the business to drive new data solutions. In addition to the build out of the solution, the team will also be developing a data governance framework to ensure the proper level of control is in place long term. This role will be the owner and primary driver of the development of the data governance framework in partnership with IT.”
Qualifications for the position include: “Experience querying large relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, DB2, Teradata, etc). Experience with various data modeling concepts, tools, methodologies and ETL processes is strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience in the use of MIS tools (Business Objects, Cognos, TOAD, Hyperion, SAS). Detail oriented coupled with the ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness. Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to develop solutions to complex analytical/data-driven problems. Proficiency within the Microsoft environment (Windows/Outlook/Office Suite). Excellent oral and written communication skills.”
