Liberty Mutual is looking for a Manager of Special Projects, Data Governance in Boston, MA. Responsibilities of the position include the following: “Defines, maintains and administers CM Data Governance processes; this includes the definition of data standards and policies as well as the coordination of data change management/impact assessments. In collaboration with the Data Management team and functional stakeholders, defines master data, ownership and decision rights. Through established Governance processes, participates in the steering of systems development efforts and performs selective project reviews. Consults with Senior Management and Stakeholders to identify and develop strategies to support key business objectives; conducts research and analysis to support decision-making.”
Qualifications include: “Generally a minimum of 7 years’ related experience with 3 years in leadership role desirable. In-depth knowledge of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies. Broad, enterprise-wide view of insurance products and services and an understanding of strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance. Extensive experience planning and deploying either business or IT initiatives (preference for both). Exceptional communication skills and the demonstrable ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations. Ability to act as liaison conveying information in a suitable manner between the business unit and their counterparts within Information Technology.”
