Target is looking for a Manager of Business Intelligence and Analytics – Testing in Minneapolis, MN. According to the post, “Within a team or department, contributes to BI and analytics strategies and leads team members. Responsible for project, process and program management, consulting and process improvement, data analysis, managing team and talent, and professional involvement. Communicates complex project progress and analytics results to key stakeholders. Ensures we are solving the appropriate business problems within the proper scope.”
Responsibilities of the position include the following: “Plan and/or execute studies of complex work problems, procedures, or systems. Use an established strategy, such as Six Sigma, to study a business issue. Translate business needs or questions into specific plans for data collection and/or data analysis. Collect, locate, tabulate, and organize data for analysis. Validate, check, reconcile, or otherwise check data accuracy. Create and/or apply models to data (including financial models, statistical models, etc.)”
