Macy’s is searching for a Manager of Business Intelligence Data Architecture in San Francisco, CA. According to the post, “The eCommerce Data Services team is looking for an individual to serve as Manager of BI Data Architecture for enterprise data. This individual will be a hands-on manager who will be responsible for leading a team of Data Architects and will be directly responsible for the analysis, definition, review and design of a consistent data architecture including alignment with enterprise data architecture, standards and policies as well providing guidance and mentoring as needed.”
Qualifications for the position include: “Has at least 3 years’ experience with very large data repositories (10+ terabytes). Has at least 5 years’ experience as an architect for software development, database and Business Intelligence Solutions. Has at least 3 years managing people and has proven people management skills employed to build teams and to handle conflict effectively. Is highly motivated, a quick learner, able to work independently or on a team and can drive solutions with minimal supervision. Has experience with full Software Development Lifecycle methodologies. Experience with Agile is a Plus.”
