Spark Energy is searching for a Manager of Business Intelligence in Houston, TX. Responsibilities of the position include the following: “Manage a team of Data Analysts’ and Report Developers responsible for critical reports, including prioritizing tasks across the team. Provide direction in reporting and business intelligence platforms across multiple applications. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define reporting and data management requirements. Assist with developing metrics and reporting standards. Operate as the data expert for data housed in multiple systems. Provide best practices recommendations on BI tools. Collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery.”
Qualifications for the position include the following: “Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar technical degree required. 3+ years of previous Business Intelligence Management experience required. Must possess skills in “data stewardship” and “data governance” discipline. Solid background with Business Intelligence tools. Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, or similar competitive tool. Ability to successfully interact at all levels with internal and external clients. Proven ability to build, manage, and foster a team-oriented environment.”
