Hyundai Capital America is looking for a Manager of Data Governance at their national headquarters in Irvine, CA. This position will: “Support HCA as an internal consultant implementing process change throughout the organization. Focus on corporate level initiatives driving innovation at the company level for data governance, MDM and EDW. Analyze existing work processes, technology use and policies/procedures used by all departments to ensure that data, reporting, business activities and processes are efficient, accurate, consistent, actionable and compliant with company, legal and regulatory standards.”
Qualifications for the position include the following: “Prior knowledge/experience with data governance/data quality, metadata and master data management. Good understanding of data in financial services organizations and associated technologies. Past experience with enterprise wide/class system implementations, either Business or IT. Experience with Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence related projects. Experience with detailed data analysis/profiling with SQL, stored procedure, exception reporting. Experience with business process design/improvement, including gathering requirements, documenting workflows and developing specifications. Knowledge of performance improvement principles, tools and techniques. Knowledge of how process design and improvement connects to systems design.”
