The Pew Charitable Trusts is looking for a Manager of Data Management in Philadelphia, PA. The post states, “The Manager, Data Management is a senior member of Enterprise Systems and has responsibility for Enterprise-wide Data Management capabilities. The primary duties of this position are leading the development, implementation and support of data repositories, data marts, data warehouses, business intelligence tools and ensuring optimum performance and reliability of all of the above capabilities. The Manager, Data Management is responsible for developing data and business intelligence project specifications and schedules, working with business users to document process flows and business logic, and translating these into actionable requirements for database, data mart and data warehouse development.”
It continues, “A successful candidate is able to analyze complex data problems & structures to generate useful business insights. They are able to develop reporting to monitor business critical results and work with internal partners on analytical projects. They are able to support the leadership team with data consultation, data gathering and data analysis and mentor other Data Analysts and Application Developers. They need to lead efforts to increase efficiency and streamline processes through building sustainable infrastructure, automation and process improvement. The Manager, Data Management reports to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Systems.”
