Harvard University is looking for a Manager of Enterprise Data Services in Cambridge, MA. The post states, “Harvard University IT (HUIT) is seeking a highly skilled Manager of the new Enterprise Data Services team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Applications Architecture, the Manager of Enterprise Data Services will lead a team of database developers and data architects who provide data delivery and database expertise to development teams within HUIT, as well as individuals and groups across the University. The incumbent will establish robust data acquisition and integration services in support of applications used in Harvard College, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Harvard Extension School, Harvard Central Administration, and other units across the University.”
Qualifications for the position include the following: “Minimum 10 years of overall experience, including 5 years in a lead technical role. Experience with Oracle Database 10g or higher. Experience with Perl, XML, SQL, PL/SQL, Windows and Unix/Linux. Competency using version control frameworks such as Subversion, Git, or CVS. Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic environment. Ability to translate functional needs into technical solutions. Excellent technical and analytical problem solving skills.”
